The drill

Scent design for 'The Drill' by Women’s Circus, Melbourne, 2019.

Created and performed by over sixty Women’s Circus members and artists, The Drill was an immersive, site-specific circus work sharing untold stories of war through the lens of those left behind.

The aim was to create nostalgic scents that helped to place the audience in specific settings in 1914. I designed four scents for different spaces within the Drill Hall: Anzac Post, Hospital, Bunker and Postal Room.
