Audioscentual

Scent design for Audioscentual - a multisensory live performance of experimental music at Mamma Chen's in Melbourne 2023.

There were four performances across the afternoon, each accompanied by its own bespoke scent. I created the scents in consultation with the artists using natural botanicals and featuring Australian natives such as lemon-scented eucalyptus, kunzea, and sandalwood.

The audience was invited to come and experience how cross-modal interactions can enhance our auditory perception through the power of smell.
